  • Teddy Kassa

    AGS_TK_264Chief Executive Officer

    Teddy Kassa has been deeply involved with aviation since he was 17, when he completed his solo flight in a Cessna 174. In 1998, after attending Guilford College in North Carolina; Teddy joined AGS as Regional Sales Manager. Throughout the following years; Teddy gained a wealth of experience as he played a lead role in assisting AGS customers with their B747 and B737 C-check requirements.

    During his 15+ years in Sales and Purchasing, he has travelled extensively throughout the world, meeting with both new and veteran clients and manufacturers. This dedication and tenacity earned Teddy the promotion to Senior Vice President Sales and Purchasing in 2006 and in 2018, the AGS board appointed Teddy to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

    Teddy remains active in the Airline Suppliers Association, the ACPC, AFRAA and the MRO Africa conferences where he routinely is invited to participate in the Technical Directors round-table.  Teddy also serves on the executive board of AGS and oversees the AGS relationship with the 8 manufacturers we represent.  

    Teddy is happily married to his wife Jessica and is the proud father of son Grayson.  Teddy spends his spare time playing golf and attending Washington Wizards basketball games.  Teddy also enjoys spending time with his 2 dogs, Cabo and Miami.

  • Yem Maru

    AGS_YM_264Chief Operating Officer

    Yem started with American General Supplies in July 1994 as Regional Sales Manager. She managed several accounts in different parts of the world for almost 10 years. She was later promoted to Senior Vice President, Corporate Services.

    In 2018 the AGS board appointed Yem to her current role as Chief Operating Officer.

    Yem has worked in the Aviation Industry for more than 20 years. During this time, she has traveled extensively throughout the world and has attended many aviation trade shows and conferences.

    Yem received her bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics at Greensboro College.  She is also fluent in both French and Portuguese, a result of her lifelong avid interest in languages.

    In 2004, Yem received the Employee of the Year Award as recognition for Meritorious Performance excelling in sales revenue for that period. 

    Yem serves as a member on the executive board of American General Supplies, Inc. and Maru Goodwill Inc., a non-profit organization that engages in charitable activities for under privileged children in Ethiopia.

    During her free time, Yem enjoys spending time traveling with her family which includes her husband Yohannes and children Lucas and Lydia.

  • Mohamad Chehab

    AGS_MC_264Vice President, International Sales

    Mohamad started his career with American General Supplies in October, 2001 in the capacity of Regional Sales Manager after which he was promoted to his current position as Vice President, International Sales in October, 2004.

    Prior to joining AGS, Mohamad was a Systems Analyst for MCI Worldcom. Mohamad received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Media at the Universite de Franche – Comte – Besancon, France. He speaks fluent French and Arabic.

    In 2004, Mohamad received the Employee of the Year Award for meritorious performance. In 2007, during AGS’ 25th Anniversary Celebration, he received the Excellence Award in Sales.

    Mohamad is married and a loving father of two daughters, Sophie and Julia. During his free time, he enjoys playing and watching soccer, watching movies and spending time with his family.

  • Joel David

    AGS_JD_264Vice President, Purchasing and Honeywell Chanel Partnership

    Joel started with American General Supplies, Inc. in April 1990 as a Purchasing Agent. He was later promoted to Senior Purchasing Agent, Purchasing Manager and Vice President Purchasing and Provisioning. In early 2018 Joel was appointed Vice President Purchasing & Honeywell Channel Partnership.

    Prior to joining AGS, Joel greatly expanded his purchasing knowledge and experience working as Purchasing Director for the Brooke Grove Foundation of Sandy Spring, Maryland.

    Joel received his Electrical and Mechanical Technician Degree from S. Thomas College in Sri Lanka in 1981 and his Electronics Engineering Degree from TEEST College in Maryland in 1983.

    In 2008, Joel received the AGS Recognition Award for Meritorious Performance. He is active in ACPC and other aviation associations.  Joel has attended numerous aviation conferences and related training courses.  Joel led our TAAG Angola and LAM initial provisioning projects.

    Joel is married and has one daughter, Stephanie and one son, Jonathan. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and attending church activities.

  • Belyneh Kassa

    Vice President – Technical Operations

    AGS_BK_264In May of 2012, Mr. Belyneh Kassa joined AGS as Vice President – Technical Field Sales Representative AGS/Honeywell Channel Partnership – Africa.  “BK” was initially servicing African airline operators from the AGS offices in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

    Belyneh began his commercial aviation career as an avionics mechanic after graduating from Aviation Maintenance Technical School.  He continued to enlarge his educational background, eventually earning a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Dresden in Germany.

    Prior to joining AGS, Belyneh served at Ethiopian Airlines in various capacities including: Senior Avionics Engineer, Supervisor Quality Audit, Expert Avionics Engineer, Aircraft Lease Administrator and Manager Maintenance Programs.

    Due to the needs of the business, Belyneh came to work in AGS head-office in 2017 and was subsequently made Vice President of the Technical Operations Department.

    Belyneh is married and the proud father of 5 children.  Belyneh’s adult children live in the USA and he and his wife visit them during their vacation travels.

  • Yonas Alemayehu

    AGS_YA_264Regional Sales Manager and Global GSE Sales 

    Yonas holds a BBA in Business and Marketing from Covenant College in Georgia and had an extensive sales background before joining AGS.

    Yonas has been with AGS for over 10 years and has held several positions of increasing responsibility including management positions in Stores, Warehousing, Quality Assurance and Purchasing.

    In 2013 Yonas was promoted to the position of Regional Sales Manager & Global GSE Sales. In this position, Yonas is responsible for the regional sales of AGS’ products and services as well as the global marketing of the ground support equipment (GSE) produced by the manufacturers we represent.

    Yonas and his wife Vanitha have one son named Amanuel. In his free time Yonas enjoys spending time with his family, biking and following professional sports.

  • Timothy Hall

    AGS_TH_264Manager, MRO and Quality Assurance

    Tim Hall, Manager MRO and Quality Assurance, got his start in aviation as an E-4 Petty Officer, Aviation Boatswain's Mate in the U.S. Navy while serving on the aircraft carrier, USS Independence

    After leaving the Navy, Tim graduated from the Teterboro School of Aeronautics, in New Jersey, with his Airframe and Powerplant Technician's license (A&P license).

    Tim later held positions as a maintenance technician with World Airways, Inc., Goodrich Corporation, Air Cruiser's Company, Inc., Gemini Air Cargo and Compass Airlines before joining AGS.

    Tim joined AGS in 2009 and assumed the position of Purchasing Agent in AGS Purchasing and Provisioning Department. Tim was subsequently promoted into positions in Repairs and Sales. Tim was ultimately promoted to the position he holds today, as AGS Manager of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul services and Quality Assurance.

    Tim is married to his wife Kelly and they have one son, Connor. In his free time Tim enjoys playing hockey and coaching his son's hockey team. Tim is a fan of multiple professional sports.

  • Joseph Rzepka, Jr

    AGS_JR_264Financial Controller 
    Joe started with American General Supplies in January, 2009 as Financial Controller. In this highly responsible and demanding capacity, he is responsible for the Financial Reporting to Senior Management, managing the general accounting functions, tax reporting, internal controls and the annual review/audit.

    Prior to joining AGS, Joe started his Accounting career 21 years ago as a Staff Accountant and was later promoted to Accounting Manager for Holladay-Tyler Printing. He then worked as Financial Controller for the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, A & P and Ipreo before joining AGS. 

    Joe received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Bethany College in 1988.

    Joe is married and has one son, Jacob and one daughter, Megan. During his free time, he enjoys brewing beer, playing Pool and gardening.

  • Fitsum Tesfaye


    Fitsum received her Bachelors Degree in Business Education in Ethiopia from Addis Ababa University in 2002.

    Prior to joining AGS, Fitsum started her aviation experience while at Ethiopian Airlines in the role of Materials Controller and later was promoted to Senior Analyst in the Supplies Division. She later served as Buyer/Purchasing agent in their Purchasing Division. While working with Ethiopian Airlines, Fitsum took several in-house training courses, including Material Management and Cost Accounting, Management Report Writing and Business Communications.

    Fitsum started her career with AGS 2006 as a B737 Provisioner/Purchasing agent. She was later promoted to Accounting Manager, acting Treasurer and finally to the position of Treasurer.  In this capacity, her responsibilities include managing the corporation's finances as well as the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables sub-divisions.

    Fitsum is married to her husband Yoseph and is the mother of one daughter, Naomi and son Matthias. During her free time she enjoys reading, watching movies and traveling with her family.

  • Charlene Sohrab

    Manager, Human Resources 

    AGS_CH_264Charlene joined American General Supplies, Inc. in October 2016 as the Manager of Human Resources. In this role, Charlene is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR area and management of various HR Programs. 

    Prior to joining AGS, Charlene grew her HR knowledge while working for the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates.

    Prior to working for the GWMFA, Charlene worked at biotechnology company, GenVec, Inc.

    Charlene has obtained her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification and her HR Certified Professional Certification (SHRM-CP).

    Charlene is married to husband Tony and has 2 adult sons.  In her free time Charlene enjoys spending time with family and traveling to exotic beach resort locations in the Caribbean and beyond.

  • Kenneth Connor

    AGS_KC_2642Director, Marketing 

    Ken joined American General Supplies, Inc. in September, 2011, as Director of Marketing.  Ken, in this role, is responsible for helping develop goals, objectives, strategies and tactics which will help AGS achieve its corporate objectives associated with market share and profitability.

    Prior to joining AGS, Ken held various senior sales and marketing positions with Northwest Airlines (now Delta), United Airlines, Qatar Airways and British Midland International Airways (bmi).

    During Ken’s airline career he has lived in Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, Beijing and Hong Kong, China and worked extensively in the UK and Europe.

    Ken holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Washburn University in Kansas.

    Ken has been married to his lovely wife Sherry for 35 years.

    During his free time Ken enjoys working out, travel, gardening, singing with a few musical friends on weekends and playing golf (very infrequently these days).
