Yem Maru - Senior Vice President, Corporate Services
Yem started with American General Supplies in July, 1994 as Regional Sales Manager.
She handled several customers of AGS in different parts of the world for 10 years.
She was later promoted to Senior Vice President, Corporate Services.
Yem is responsible for Customer Relations, Human Resources, I/T, Marketing and Design and the State of the Art Warehouse.
Yem has worked in the Aviation Industry for more than 15 years. During this time, she has traveled
extensively throughout the world and has attended many aviation trade shows and conferences.
Yem received her Bachelors Degree in Business Economics at Greensboro College in North Carolina
in 1989. She speaks fluent French and Portuguese. In 2004, Yem received the Employee of the Year Award as recognition for Meritorious Performance
excelling in sales revenue for that period.
During her free time, she enjoys traveling and sightseeing with her husband.
Joel David - Vice President, Purchasing and Provisioning
Joel started with American General Supplies, Inc. in April, 1990 as a Purchasing
Agent. He was later promoted to Senior Purchasing Agent, Purchasing Manager and
he is now Vice President, Purchasing and Provisioning. In this capacity, Joel is
responsible for all Provisioning and Purchasing Activities of AGS.
Prior to joining AGS, Joel worked for Brooke Grove Foundation as Purchasing
Director which has widened the scope of his experience in Purchasing.
Joel received his Electrical and Mechanical Technician Degree from S. Thomas
College in Sri Lanka in 1981 and his Electronics Engineering Degree from TEEST
College in Maryland in 1983.
In 2008, Joel received the AGS Recognition Award for Meritorious Performance. In
2010, he will be completing his 20th year of service with AGS. Joel speaks
fluent Tamil and Sinhalese.
Joel is married and has one daughter, Stephanie and one son, Jonathan. During
his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cycling,
attending church activities, playing volleyball, window shopping for cars,
gardening and remodeling.
Joseph F. Rzepka, Jr - Financial Controller
Joe started with American General Supplies in January, 2009 as Financial
Controller. In this highly responsible and demanding capacity, he is responsible
for the Financial Reporting to Senior Management, managing the general
accounting functions, tax reporting, internal controls and the annual
review/audit.
Prior to joining AGS, Joe started his Accounting career 21 years
ago as a Staff Accountant and was later promoted to Accounting Manager for
Holladay-Tyler Printing. He than worked as Financial Controller for the
Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, A & P and Ipreo before joining
AGS.
Joe received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Bethany College in
1988.
Joe is married and has one son, Jacob and one daughter, Megan. During his
free time, he enjoys brewing beer, shooting B-Ball and gardening.
Muluken G. Mewa - Manager, Technical Operations – Repair and Overhaul
Muluken started with American General Supplies in October, 2007
as Manager, Technical Operations – Repair and Overhaul. In this capacity, he is
responsible for handling all component repair activities for all AGS customers
which generates average revenue of about $2 million annually.
Prior to joining AGS, his aviation career started at Ethiopian Airlines working as a Structural
Engineer and then as a Maintenance Program Engineer. Once he moved to the United
States, he worked for United Airlines and Air BP. He currently holds his FAA A&P License.
Muluken received his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from
Addis Ababa University in 1999 and is a member of the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor
Society.
Muluken is married and has one daughter, Saron. He is an avid sports
fan, enjoys reading aviation related articles and magazines, and spending time
with family and friends.
Kathleen M. Dean - Manager, Human Resources
Kathleen started with American General Supplies, Inc. in April,
1989 as a Secretary. She was later promoted to Data Processing, Executive
Secretary to the Chairman of the Board and President, Project Administrator and
is currently the Manager, Human Resources. In this capacity, she is responsible
for the administration of hiring, payroll, benefit administration and training
which are all very important aspects of the continued development and growth of
AGS.
Prior to joining AGS, Kathleen worked for Bank of America as a Second Trust
Loan and Home Equity Line of Credit Loan Processor/Closer.
In 2007, during AGS’ 25th Anniversary Celebration, Kathleen received the Meritorious Employee of the
Year Award. In 2008, she received the All-Around Team Player Award which was
voted upon by her co-workers. In 2009, she completed her 20th year of service
with the company.
Kathleen is a native Maryland resident. She is a mother of 2
daughters, Ashley and Gabriella. During her free time, she enjoys spending time
with her daughters and family and friends and vacationing at the beach.
Sanjeev Nookooloo - Vice President, International Sales for Asia and the Far East
Sanjeev started with American General Supplies in October,
2008 in the capacity of Vice President, International Sales for Asia and the Far
East.
Prior to joining AGS, Sanjeev’s aviation career started 20 years ago at
Air Mauritius. He worked as a License Aircraft Engineer, Planning Engineer,
Provisioner-Material Management and later served as Head of Procurement and
Provisioning. He then joined Veling Ltd as Vice President – Technical Services.
Sanjeev received his Masters Degree in Business Administration at the Management
College of Southern Africa. He speaks fluent French and Hindi.
Sanjeev is married and has one son, Keshav and one daughter, Mokshada . During his free
time, he enjoys soccer, biking and walking and is an amateur player of
percussion instruments.
